Project Mission
Our mission is to guide program participants through physical and cognitive training to develop confidence and communication as a means for handling conflict. Karate is essentially about balance, technique, and timing rather than brute force and strength. The karate student gains discipline, focus and a framework of physical agility that comes from practice. The skills learned in karate will transform the students abilities outside the dojo.
The target areas of our program focus on the development of life skills through cognitive training using Okinawan style karate as a training platform.
